Maglite LED Bulbs

Tony Maglica was born in New York City but he and his mother moved back to Croatia to be raised by family. In nineteen fifty Mr. Maglica came back to the United States. He was an experimental machinist by trade. He did not speak English, and had to learn it word by word. He wanted the American dream and in doing so made high quality items for the American people. He also wanted to keep the flashlight industry in the United States. He ended up saving one hundred and twenty five dollars to buy his first lathe. The rest is history and in nineteen fifty five, he invented the Maglite flashlight.

For every Maglite flashlight there is a Maglite LED bulb. They are packaged in a blister card package hat keeps the LED bulbs protected and free of dust. Some Maglite LED bulbs come in bulk all in their individual poly bags. These art taken from new equipment that is owned by Maglite or a partner, they re-manufacture Maglites into specialty flashlights. Then they are tested to be sure they still are good, polished and re-polished. These Maglite LED bulbs do not come in the blister package, but they are used and new. They are guaranteed and are lower in cost than coming directly from the factory.

Maglite LED bulbs last so much longer than regular bulbs. It can last over ten thousand hours. They are much more durable than the old incandescent bulb. They re built to last a lifetime. The three watt LED is made to produce the powerful beam that Maglite flashlights are famous for.

The Maglite LED bulbs have no filament to break or burn out. They use less power and don’t get as hot as incandescent bulbs do. The light does not turn yellow when the batteries weaken; it stays white all the time. Depending on the model of the Maglite flashlight there are LED bulb replacements. The TLE-1F Flange/PR base has one watt, it is shock proof, 50 lumen LED and it is vibration resistant. The drop in replacement is for any two to nine volt and works in lanterns, headlamps or the flashlight.

There is a year warranty on this one.

There are now third party conversion kits for the Maglite LED bulbs. If one wants to upgrade their flashlight to LED, this might be a good thing. Be cautious though, not all of these kits are the real thing. If on the package it says that your kit will void the original Maglite warranty, walk away and look somewhere else. You do not want to void out the warranty no matter what.

When buying Maglite LED bulbs be sure they are made in the United States, same with the Maglite flashlight of any model. If they are not made in the United States, they are not the true Maglite Led bulbs and they could ruin your flashlight. These bulbs are not expensive, starting out from about two dollars and goes up to five dollars. This all depends on the Maglite you have.
